Linda Kaye Temple

Linda Kaye Temple, 69, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away September 16, 2018 at Midland Hospice House. Linda was born on July 23, 1949 in Marion, Kansas.

Linda married William Temple on October 12, 1968 in Topeka where together they had two children. Linda worked as a homemaker her whole life and was very proud of that title. She loved her family and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Linda was a lover of her church, Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church, and collecting dolls from different areas of the world, thanks to her stepfather.

Linda is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, William, her parents Glenn and Ruth A. Jones of Topeka, her daughter Brandy Temple of Topeka, and her son Brian Temple of Shawnee; and six grandchildren, Drew Temple of Shawnee, Grayson Temple of Wichita, Avery Temple of Topeka, Addison Temple of Lawrence, Abby Temple of Topeka, and Brooke Temple of Shawnee, and her brother, James Sutherland of Pell City, Alabama.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 19, 2018 Brennan Mathena Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Garden.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Race Against Breast Cancer (RABC) to help fund mammograms for women that are in need. Brennanmathenafh.com
