Dee Meissner, 92, of Topeka, died on September 11, 2018 at McCrite Plaza Care Center.
She was born in Marysville, KS on September 13, 1925 the daughter of Louis and Elsie (Holle) Moore.
Dee was a member and worked as a secretary at Countryside United Methodist Church. She retired from the Federal District Court where she worked as a Court Clerk.
Dee married Philip Meissner on September 23, 1950 at the Travis AFB, Fairfield, CA. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Bob (Sharon) Meissner of Topeka, three grandchildren, Laurie (Chad) Parks of Topeka, Sarah (Andy) Pavkov of Olathe, and John (Becci) Meissner of Prairie Village, along with seven great- grandchildren, Kate Parks, Ally Parks, Jackson Pavkov, Luke Parks, Lilah Pavkov, Jake Parks and Walker Pavkov. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Beth Meissner.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service. Private burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission or Marion Dental Clinic sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66603.
