Ladislao Arreola Maciel

Ladislao Arreola Maciel, 89, of Topeka, died Septebmer 8, 2018 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Nazas, Durango, Mexico on September 3, 1929 the son of Jose Arreola and Benita Maciel.

He was a farmer.

Ladislao married Maria Del C. Sanchez in Nazas, Durango, Mexico on May 31, 1952.  She survives.

He is also survived by his children, Jose Dolores Arreola, Ruperto Arreola, Gaudencia Arreola, Maria Isabel Arreola, Martha Ilda Arreola and Claudia Guerra, and a sister, Angelita Arreola.  He was preceded in death by two children, Gaudencio and Guadalupe Arreola, and his siblings, Augustina, Jose, Panfilo, Amalio and Lazaro Arreola.

Ladislao will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Wednesday after 2:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends until 9:00 p.m. where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m.   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
