Michael Ray Clark, 48, of Topeka, KS died June 19, 2018.
He was born May 13, 1970 in Topeka the son of Calvin Ray and Marjorie (Arpin) Clark.
Mike attended Most Pure Heart Grade School, Hayden High School and graduated from Washburn Rural High School. He was a US Navy Veteran serving on the USS Fearless, USS Klakring, USS Exultant and the USS Elrod during Persian Gulf. Mike was currently employed as a mechanic at Heritage Tractor.
He is survived by a son, Gavin Ray Clark of Charleston, SC, his mother, Marjorie Kurtz of Topeka, two sisters, Debbie (Floyd) Trahoon of Topeka and Chris (Kim Oliver) Lawrence of Columbia, MO, along with his faithful brown lab, Pollyanna. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Ray Clark in 2012 and his step-mother, Ann Clark in 2014.
A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. Following the rosary the family will receive friends until 6:00 p.m. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Matthew Catholic Church with military honors to follow.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
