Reymundo “Ray” Tinoco, 73, of Topeka, died December 28, 2017 at the House at Midland Care surrounded by his loving family.
Ray was born in Topeka, Kansas on February 7, 1944 the son of John and Josephine (Tetuan) Tinoco. He was a 1963 graduate of Topeka High School
Ray was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Vietnam era. He was an avid KU and Chief’s fan and enjoyed going to the casino. He was also a member of the Shriner’s.
He was a Pressman for Adam’s Business Forms for 38 years prior to his retirement.
Ray married Guadalupe “Lupe” Barranco at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on May 2, 1970. She survives. He is also survived by his children. Anita Tinoco, René Tinoco and Steven (Julie) Tinoco, six grandchildren, Melissa, Aurelia, Alicia, Viviana, Reymundo and Rio and four siblings, Marcella Tinoco, Tom (Linda) Tinoco, Gilbert (Susan) Tinoco, and John Michael Tinoco.
Ray was cremated. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with military honors to follow.
