Rebecca "Becky" Guerrero

Rebecca “Becky” Guerrero, 86, of Topeka, KS died November 21, 2017 at the House at Midland Care.

She was born on May 19, 1931 in Topeka, the daughter of Candelario and Modesta (Cervantez) Guerrero.

She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Rebecca had a green thumb and enjoyed cheering on her KU Jayhawks.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Samuel Guerrero, and four sisters, Lupe Mitchell, Carmen Llamas, Margaret Gutierrez and Carole Guerrero.

Survivors include two daughters, Maria Villalobos (Al), Anna Caban (George), two brothers, Richard Guerrero (Linda Brookshire) and Candido Guerrero Jr. (Ernestina), two sisters, Sarah Mosqueda and Rachel Rodriguez, her grandchildren, Victor (RiAnn), Christopher (Kayla), Sondra (Israel), Alex, Justin (Dawn), and Rebecca (Devin), and great grandchildren, Denali, Elias, Madison, Camille, Ruby, Micah, Elijah, Azrael, Josh, Jasmine, Michael, McKayla, and Jaxson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where a rosary will be prayed at 10:30 followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.
