Patricia Ann Robbins, 83, of Topeka, died September 8, 2017 at her home.
She was born in Topeka, Kansas on August 17, 1934 the daughter of Arthur and Mildred S. (Corbin) McCarter. She attended Parkdale Grade School, East Topeka Jr. High, Topeka High School and graduated with honors in 1952 from Highland Park High School. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Patirica held several positions over her lifetime. She worked for Velvet Freeze, The Fleming Company, Bobo’s Drive In, Countryside United Methodist Church, as a secretary for Glen, Cornish and Leuenberger attorneys, at the Clerk’s Office for the US District Court, and as a Realtor and Office Administrator for Lockwood Development until 1994. She also worked part time for over 20 years as an Office Assistant for John Parker at Topeka Natural Therapeutics.
Patricia enjoyed piano, crocheting and playing bridge.
She was married to Roland Robbins from 1975 until his death in 2000. She was also predeceased by her companion, Rosendo Anguiano, her parents, her siblings, Dora Centlivre, Betty Meek, Maxine Boast, and Bill McCarter, two grandsons and two great granddaughters.
Survivors include her children, Gary (Nilda) Brooks, Brad (Kim) Brooks, Becky (Bob) Coffman, Mike (Cindy) Brooks and Cindy Brooks, 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Great Lakes Hospice and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
