Margaret V. Rhead

Margaret V. Rhead, 92, of Topeka, formerly of Wichita, died Monday, June 12, 2017 at Manor Care Health. She was born May 31, 1925 in New York the daughter of Vane and Margaret (Duschey) Rhead. Margaret was devout Catholic and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was a very accomplished real estate agent in the Wichita area spending most of her career with Century 21. She enjoyed reading in her spare time. Margaret is survived by her children, Mary Lee Imerzel, Karen Beck, Vaneta Mann, Cpt. Vane Rhead and Lee Lobmeyer along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Dale Cumpston and Gardette Rhead. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Cremation will follow. Burial will be at a later date in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
