Angel Quinones

Angel Alberto Quinones, 16, of Topeka, died June 1, 2017 at Stormont-Vail Hospital.

He was born in Los Angeles, California on December 30, 2000 the son of Rosa Soto.

Angel was a sophomore at Topeka High School. He played baseball when he was younger.

He is survived by his mother, Rosa Soto, his siblings, Nayeli Bueno, Bianca Jauregui, Jocelyn Soto, Araceli Cares, Yandel Hernandez and Rosie Hernandez, and his grandparents, Rosa Medina and Gonzalo Soto. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse Bueno, Jr. on February 14, 2004.

Angel will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Thursday after 2:00 p.m. where a Parish rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. and his family will receive friends until 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Topeka Cemetery following a procession from the funeral home on Friday at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Topeka Cemetery.
