Mary Ann Kelly, 84, of Topeka, Kansas, died February 26, 2017. Mary Ann was born December 18, 1932, the daughter of William & Margaret (Shaw) Findlay, Chicago, Illinois. Mary Ann and Robert Kelly were married May 25, 1963 in St. Cajetan’s Church, Chicago, Illinois. She worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 15 years in Chicago before she and Bob moved to Topeka in 1967. Mary Ann was a loving and supportive wife to Bob with whom she shared 53 years. In addition to Bob, She is survived by a brother, William (Karen) Findlay, their children; Debbie, Bill and Greg and their families. Mary Ann valued the many friends she made during her years in Topeka. She enjoyed gardening, feeding her birds and deer, volunteering at the zoo, afternoons with her Red Hats girls, and enjoying the activities of the Combat Air Museum where Bob is an active volunteer. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am Saturday, March 11th at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church or Mater Dei Parish sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
