Marjorie Elizabeth Rinehart, 93, of Topeka, died February 11, 2017 at Aldersgate Village Care Home.
She was born in Springfield, Illinois on July 18, 1923 the eleventh child of twelve born to Timothy and Myrtle Mary (Ryder) Driscoll.
Marjorie worked as a clerk for the Santa Fe Railroad for 42 years.
She loved music and was a member of Mater Dei Holy Name Church and the Santa Fe Women’s Club.
Marjorie is survived by her son, Michael (Sherry) Rinehart of Topeka, two grandsons, Jason and Justin Rinehart, her nieces and nephew, Karen Eschenburg Hindrich, Kathy Eschenburg Duvall and Mark (Susie) Eschenburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, eleven siblings and a grandson, Brent Rinehart.
Marjorie will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Friday after 2:00 p.m. where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends immediately following until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
