Rene Rodriguez Lopez

Rene Rodriguez Lopez, 30, of Topeka, died January 30, 2017 at KU Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on March 29, 1986 the son of Salome Rodriguez Cuevas and Paulina Lopez Hernandez.
Rene worked in Construction.
He married Nallely Maldonado on May 17, 2002.  She survives.  He is also survived by their four children, Elmer Rodriguez Maldonado, Blanca Renata Rodriguez Maldonado, Angel Gabriel Rodriguez Maldonado, Uriel Angel Rodriguez Maldonado.
Rene will lie in state at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. where a Legion of Mary Rosary will be prayed in Spanish at 6:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. 
Interment will be in the Cemeterio Municipal in Zacatecas, Mexico next week.
