Sheryl L. Stafford

March 12, 1950 — January 24, 2017

Sheryl L. Stafford, 66, of Tecumseh, Kansas died January 24, 2017 at Plaza West.

She was born in Topeka, Kansas on March 12, 1950 the daughter of Orion and Thea (Berry) Crabtree. 

Sheryl worked in billing for Allied Electric for 25 years.  She also worked for Huxtables and McElroy's, Inc. for 15 years.

Sheryl enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, as well as shopping, sewing and making candy.  She also enjoyed WWII airplanes and air shows.  Sheryl had a great love for her Siberian husky, Keela. 

She married Terry Stafford at Westside Baptist Church, Topeka, Kansas, on October 3, 1975.  He survives.  She is also survived by her children; Natalie Stafford, Hilarie Stafford and husband Brandon Wolf,  Christopher (Marsha) Stafford, grandchildren; Curtis, Austin and Evan Stafford, Alan and Halie Wolf, Clayton Williams, Nathan Hesse.  Siblings; Rick (Merle) Crabtree, Carol Munoz, Steve (Wilma) Crabtree, sister-in-law Vicki (Lorin) Stafford-Looka also survive.  Sheryl was preceded in death by her brother Leonard Crabtree.

A visitation for Sheryl will take place at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 3 p.m.  Cremation will take place.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association or Midland Hospice, sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, Kansas   66603.
