Delores Ann Boyle, lifetime Topeka resident, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2017.
Delores was born July 11, 1932 to John H. and Catherine Roberts. She was the oldest of nine children and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Grade School and Hayden High School.
On November 3, 1951 she married William E. Boyle of Manhattan, Ks. They had six children and were members of Holy Name Catholic Church (now Mater Dei) and later, members of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Delores spent her life devoted to her family, friends and church.
She is survived by three daughters, two sons, one sister and four brothers: Mary (Al) Apitz, Maureen (Daniel) Conaway and Jana Long; Tom (Cheryle) Boyle and Terry Boyle; Marge Calvin; Frank Roberts, Ronnie Roberts, Ralph Roberts and Jim Roberts. Delores is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, John and Catherine; her husband William; her son Dennis Boyle; sisters, Betty Myrick and Jeanette Smith, and brother John Roberts.
She will lie in state on Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
