Eligia Aguirre

Eligia Aguirre, 64, of Topeka, KS died December 26, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital. 

She was born December 1, 1952 in Durango, Mexico, the daughter of Francisco and Virginia (Hernandez) Aguirre. 

Eligia is survived by her children Erika (Fernando) Cabello, Veronica (Juan Toscano) Silva, and Araseli Silva; siblings Victor Aguirre, Jose Aguirre, Yolanda Lopez, Reyes Aguirre, Olga Rivas and Rocio Ramirez, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandsons.  She was preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Virginia.

She will lie in-state after 2 pm, Thursday, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 2 – 8 pm.  Cremation will follow.  A memorial service will be 11 am Friday at the Iglesia Adventista Del Septimo Dia de Topeka Church, 1601 NE Seward Avenue, Topeka.  Inurnment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
