Luella Ann Wabskie, 63, of Topeka, died November 16, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.
She was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma on July 5, 1953 the daughter of Donald and Marjorie (Shopteese) Wabskie Sr.
Luella was a homemaker. She was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Tribe. She enjoyed music and spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Rosevelt of Topeka, two grandchildren, Sam and Allyson Latka both of Topeka, and her siblings, Ray Lee Wabskie of Topeka, Donald Wabskie Jr. of Topeka, Gary (Sabrina) Wabskie of Mayetta, Kansas, Donna L. (Francisco) Vega of Topeka, Carol LaMonte of Russell, Ks., and Diane Wabskie Arnold of Russell, Kansas.
Luella was preceded in death by her father Donald Wabskie Sr. on April 25, 2003 and her mother, Marjorie Wabskie on November 30, 2005.
Luella will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Friday, November 25th where her family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Shipshee Cemetery on the Potawatomi Indian Reservation.
