Carolyn Lee Watson

Carolyn L. Watson, 70 of Topeka, KS, died October 13, 2016 at Manor Care.  She was born in Topeka, on June 25, 1946, the daughter of George and Betty (Crafton) Hanson.  Carolyn retired from the State of Kansas Insurance Department.  She was of the Catholic faith.  Carolyn married Donald Watson on March 1, 1968. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1994.  She is survived by a sister, Tamla (Terry) Miller, Topeka, and two nephews, Adam and Austin Miller.  Carolyn will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m.   Following the rosary the family will receive friends until 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m., at Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice, sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS  66603.
