Michael Eugene Anderson

Michael E. “Mike” Anderson, 55, of Topeka, died September 24, 2016 at his home.

He was born in Topeka, Kansas on September 24, 1961 the son of Carl and Phyllis Jean (Browning) Anderson.

Michael was a graduate of Topeka High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He worked in several different businesses over the years and was currently a window washer for King Kong Window Cleaning.

Mike enjoyed reading, music, gardening, grilling, cooking and standing up for what he believed in.  He loved playing to role of big brother, and was a wonderful grandfather to his grandchildren.  He was good with his hands and liked to teach others how to do things.  He was fun to be around and enjoyed a good joke.

He married Patti Bement on November 1, 1980 in Topeka.  They later divorced.  He married LaDonna Loeffler in September 1993 and they later divorced.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Jean and Ed Martin of Topeka, his children, Casey (Andrew) Wiechen, Krystal Fawl, Mathew Anderson, Bradley Loeffler (Allison Clark) all of Topeka and Krysten (Matthew) McNutt of Japan, a sister, Kathy Reeves, and two brothers, Mark and Gregory Anderson also of Topeka, and eleven grandchildren.  Mike was predeceased by his father Carl Anderson last year.

Mike was cremated.  A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.
