Marion O. Fisher, 83, of Topeka, KS died Sunday, August 07, 2016 at his home. He was born May 10, 1933 in Burchard, NE the son of Lawrence and Anna (Ullman) Fisher. Marion was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council #2608, the James W. Gibbons Assembly of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus and the Goodyear Retirees Club. He enjoyed woodworking, bowling and gardening. He was married to Elizabeth Spielman, she preceded him in death on August 2, 1995. He then married Judy Logan in Topeka on August 27, 2004. She survives. He is also survived by his children, Kathy (Rick) Fortner of Shawnee, KS, Carol (Mark) Gudenkauf of Topeka, David Fisher of Topeka, KS, Linda (Alan) Heiman of Smith Center, KS, Sheri (Bryant) Combes of Bucyrus, KS, Michael Fisher of Topeka, two step-children, Michael Freeby and Pamela Hazzard both of Topeka. Two sisters, Doris Fiegener, Wilma Cumro Fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Marion will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A 3rd and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Rosary and Chalice Ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Masses to be prayed in Marion’s memory, mass intentions may be sent to Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
