Daniel Jordan Warner, of Topeka, died June 27, 2016 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born August 6, 1999 in Topeka the son of Michael W. and Mary (McCoy) Warner. Daniel just completed his sophomore year at Shawnee Heights High School and was a member in the Jr. Naval ROTC Program and active in the Mother Teresa Youth Group. He was an accomplished welder and helped his father in the concrete business. Daniel was a member of Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and was an excellent roller-skater. Daniel is survived by his parents, a sister, Maggie (Steven) Belk, two brothers, Michael D. (Sondra) Warner and Matthew W. Warner, all of Topeka, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe McCoy and Margaret (Colvin) McCoy, and Edward Warner and Catherine (McQuade) Warner. Daniel will lie in state after 4:00 PM Friday at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday at the church. Cremation will follow.
