Inocencio "Chi Chas" Munoz

Inocencio “Chi Chas” Munoz, 68, of Topeka, KS died February 22, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital. Chi Chas was born December 28, 1947 in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico the son of Bartolo and Juana (Hernandez) Munoz.  He has lived in Topeka since 1972.  Chi Chas was employed at Skinner Nursery for several years and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  He is survived by three brothers, Pedro Munoz, Alfonso Munoz and Gabriel Morales all of Texas, a sister Elvira Mireles of Topeka.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Valente.  Chi Chas was cremated.  A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 A.M. prior to the Mass.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
