Del Juan Patton, 25, of Topeka, died February 14, 2016.
He was born in Topeka, Kansas on June 24, 1990 the son of Ryland Patton Sr. and Esperanza Maria (Brooks) Roberts.
Del Juan worked for ISS Cleaning Facility. He loved to cook and make music but especially being with family and his daughter.
He is survived by his parents, Esperanza and William Roberts, and Ryland Sr. and Natalie Patton, all of Topeka, his girlfriend, Gail Catlett and their unborn child due in August, Savayah Lyric Patton, a daughter, Sanaa Brielle Patton of the home, his siblings, William (Alicha) Roberts III, Ryland Patton Jr., Elijah Quarles, Mar Von Tibbs, and ZaeOndrre Jones, all of Topeka, Daquan Patton of Galveston, TX, Sairon Patton of Manhattan, KS, Julian Shuckahosee of Topeka, Shirlissa Sanders of Detroit, Michigan, Aujanay Patton of Topeka, Sierra Mayfield of Gary, Indiana, Brianna (Donald) Davis of Topeka, Deja Patton of Ft. Worth, Texas, Amara Tibbs, Lanacia Tibbs, Ciara Roberts, Zae’Breauna Patton, Camri White, and Za’Ryah Patton all of Topeka, Ronne Patton of Galveston, Texas and Lyric Yeargin of Topeka, maternal grandmother, Maria Ramirez Porter (Stuart Porter, Jr.), maternal grandfather, Billy Brooks Sr., paternal grandparents, Erlene and Herald Farley, maternal great-grandparents, Carmen and Luisa Ramirez, grandmother, Vannie Tacy, great-grandmother and grandparents, Thelma and Harry Marks, all of Topeka as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Del Juan was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Mary Jane Brooks.
Del Juan will lie in state Tuesday, February 23rd, at St. Matthew Catholic Church after 5:00 p.m. where a Parish Rosary will be prayed followed by visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 24th, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2700 SE Virginia Ave., with interment to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield Credit Union to help care for his two young daughters and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603, to be designated by his family at a later date.
