Marjorie L. Johnson, 84, Topeka, KS died Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the House at Midland Care. She was born September 4, 1931 in Topeka, the daughter of Charles and Louise (Werner) Fritton. Marjorie was a 1949 graduate of Hayden High School. She spent many years as a member of Assumption Catholic Church but currently was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Marjorie was employed for over 50 years at Adam Business Forms. She enjoyed attending auctions and she loved to dance. Marjorie married Raymond Johnson on August 2, 1954 in Topeka. He preceded her in death September 16, 2009. She was also preceded in death by four siblings, Evelyn White, Charlene Trimble, Clement Fritton and James Fritton. Marjorie is survived by a brother, Robert (Ruth) Fritton of Topeka along with many nieces and nephews. She will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made in Marjorie’s memory to Sacred Heart/St. Joseph Parish or to Midland Care Hospice sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
