Arnulfo Alejos

Arnulfo “Poof” , “Arnie”, Alejos, 87, of Topeka, KS died Friday, December 4, 2015. He was born November 29, 1928 in Topeka the son of Pedro and Macario (Ortiz) Garcia. Arnulfo was employed by the AT & SF Railroad where he worked as a Master Brake and Repairman.  He enjoyed buying and remodeling homes. He is survived by three sons, David Alejos, Ernesto (Pam) Alejos, and Mike Belaire all of Topeka, a daughter-in-law, Mary "Stella" Alejos of Kansas City, Kansas, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son, Frank Alejos, a brother, Francisco Garcia, two sisters, Esther Garcia and Josephine Florez. Arnulfo will lie in state after 9:00 A.M. Friday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M.  Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
