Christopher Eric Galvan, 22, of Topeka, died July 29, 2015 at Stormont-Vail Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on December 8, 1992 in Topeka, KS, the son of Frank Galvan and Cassandra "Casi" (Colombo) Whetstone. Christopher was an insulation installer at Capitol Insulation and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He liked to work with his hands and spend time with his daughters. Christopher is survived by his parents, Frank Galvan and Casi (Michael) Whetstone, his two daughters, Nayeli Galvan and Nayomi Galvan, sister, Mykaila Galvan, brother, Pancho Galvan, fiancée, Alicia Garcia-Soto, nieces, Anahi and Camila Escamilla and nephew, Kristian Escamilla, step-brothers, Dominque Whetstone, Christopher Whetstone, Trevaan Whetstone, step-sisters, Chelsea Banks and Asia Whetstone, grandparents, Robert and Mary Perez, Bill and Sue Saric, all of Topeka. He was preceded in death by a sister, Tiffany Galvan. Christopher will lie in state from 4:00-8:00pm on Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where the family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
