Diego Axel Nuñez

Diego "Axel" Nuez, 4 months old son of Alicia Consuelo Martinez and Diego Javier Nuez died at his home on July 25, 2015. He was born in Topeka, on March 22, 2015. Axel is survived by his mother Alicia of the home, his father Diego of Mexico, siblings, Vanesa Ramirez, Javier Martinez and Aaron Nuez all of the home, grandparents, Maria Pantoja of San Antonio, TX, Javier Arreola of Juarez, Mexico, Andres Nuez of Kansas City, Ks., Aunts and Uncles, Crystal and Oscar Garcia, Vicente and Janelle Martinez and Javier Martinez, and great grandparents, Angel and Ignacia Martinez of Topeka. He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Martinez in 2010 and his grandmother Maria Granados. Axel will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Thursday after 2:00 p.m. A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. and a Legion of Mary rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. Mass of the Angels will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
