Betty Ann Ketter, 82, Topeka, died June 30, 2015 at McCrite Plaza Health Center. She was born April 28, 1933 in Summerville, Kansas the daughter of Peter and Mary (Montgomery) Eagan. Betty worked in the grill, then as a checker for K-Mart and retired in 1995 after 27 years. She enjoyed playing Bingo. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and her faith was very important to her. Betty married Raymond Ketter on October 7, 1961 in Axtell, KS. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2015. Survivors include her son, Michael Ketter of Topeka, a daughter, Judy Brown of Kansas City, KS, two sisters Rose McGeeney and Mary Hunninghake, both of Seneca, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her siblings, Irene Koch, Evelyn Koch, Regina Koch, Genevieve Broxterman, Lucille Fox, Margie Eagan, John Eagan, and a daughter-in-law Julie Ketter. Betty will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. Monday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
