Cheryl Ann Domme, 57, of Meriden, KS, died April 17, 2015 at her home. She was born on January 9, 1958 in Phoenix, Arizona the daughter of Thomas and Betty (Lillian) Simpson. She was an Engineering Clerk for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 23 years prior to her retirement. She Cheryl was a member of Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, A.B.A.T.E., and the Telephone Pioneers. She loved animals, doing crafts, crocheting, flower gardening, traveling and especially spoiling her granddaughter. Cheryl will be remembered for always having a smile on her face. She married George Domme in Topeka, on August 31, 1984. He survives. She is also survived by her son Jacob (Kimi) Domme and their daughter Melody of Perry, KS, her parents, Thomas and Betty Simpson of Topeka, and two sisters, Kathleen (Dennis) Leatherby of Fayetteville, AR, and Nancy (John) Kennedy of Topeka. Cheryl will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
