Loretta M. Doll, 101, of Topeka, died April 13, 2015 at the Topeka Presbyterian Manor. She was born on December 2, 1913 in St. Marys, Kansas to John and Mary (Kramer) Seitz. She was the youngest of 13 children. She worked at Pelletier's Department Store in several departments at various times. Loretta enjoyed quilting, crocheting, oil painting, flower gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Loretta married Charles J. Doll at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys, Kansas on February 26, 1935. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1988. She was also predeceased by her 12 siblings, a daughter, Janice M. Perry and son-in-law, Forrest A. Gooch. She is survived by two daughters, Cyrilla (Sid) Sherman of Berryton, KS and Carol Gooch of Ballwin, MO, a son-in-law, Don Perry of Huntersville, N.C., seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren, four step great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Loretta will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Friday after 2:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. followed by a Parish Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
