Geraldine E. "Geri" Chadwick, 96, of Topeka, died March 30, 2015 at her home. She was born July 26, 1918 in Missouri, the daughter of Cornelius and Mary McGuire. Geri retired from Falley's Grocery Store where she worked in the Bakery. She previously worked at Butner's and Harry's IGA. She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella Little Flower Circle #503, Women of the Moose, V.F.W. Women's Auxiliary, the Women's Club and Perpetual Adoration at Most Pure Heart. She enjoyed playing cards, visiting with friends and family, volunteering at Let's Help and the Presbyterian Manor, and was an avid Royals fan. Geri married Kenneth Chadwick on October 17, 1969 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2009. She is survived by her children, Larry (Kelly) Hoffman of Oklahoma City, Sharon Anderson of Topeka, and Cindi (Kent) Cushing of Wichita, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Geri was also preceded in death by two sons, Charles Hoffman and James Lee Hoffman. Geri will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. Monday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. The Daughters of Isabella will pray a rosary at 4:30 P.M. and a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
