Bob "Augie" Herman, 58, of Topeka, KS died March 16, 2015 at his home. He was born April 19, 1956 in Topeka, the son of Lawrence and Barbara (Boos) Herman. Bob attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and graduated from Hayden High School in 1974. He worked as a meat cutter for Herman's Beef and Sausage. He enjoyed going to the casino, playing softball, camping, boating, fishing, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Pizza Parlor. His passions were his family, his Jayhawks, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He is survived by two sisters: Sharon Richards, Cathy (Joe) O'Connor, a brother: Larry (Rose) Herman, all of Topeka, his nieces and nephews: Brian, Angie, Christy, Joey, Larry, Robin, Mike, Laura, Michelle, and many great nieces and nephews. Bob was cremated. The family will greet friends from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6:00 p.m. Graveside inurnment service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday at Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob's memory to Midland Hospice Care or to the Sacred Heart Church, sent in care of the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
