William J. "Bill" Dinger

William J. "Bill" Dinger, 89, of Topeka, KS died January 23, 2015 at his home. Bill was born December 3, 1925 in Cranberry, WV. He was an Army WW II Veteran. Bill was a welder for BNSF retiring after 32 years of employment. Survivors include his children, Willie Dinger of Scranton, Gaye Wheeler of Mayetta, Chuck Dinger of Topeka, Betty Boatright of Mayetta, Ronnie Dinger of Mayetta and Donna Maxfield of Castlewood, VA. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren also survive. Bill will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Westlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors being provided by the American Legion Post #421.
