Michael David Allen

Michael D. Allen, 53, of Topeka, died December 8, 2014 at his home. He was born December 8, 1961 in Onaga, the son of David "Jack" and Rose Marie (Graf) Allen. Mike worked for Hamm Construction for 13 years as a truck driver. He is survived by two daughters, Heather Kurtz and her husband Jacob of Smithville, Missouri, and April Cole of Topeka along with three siblings, Ramona Bryant and husband Lonnie Lonidier of Carbondale, Rebecca Percival, Ted Allen all of Topeka and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Steven Allen. Mike will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Friday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will greet friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
