Heraclio "Cleo" Campos

Heraclio C. "Cleo" Campos, 91, Topeka, KS died December 7, 2014 at the Plaza West Regional Health Center. He was born May 21, 1923 in Corpus Christi, TX. Cleo was an Army Veteran serving during WW II. He retired from KNI as a painter. Cleo was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He married Ruth Martinez on October 21, 1946 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Elaine Santos, (Mike) of Pueblo, CO, Yvonne Viator and Maxine Bermudez both of Topeka. Nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter also survive. Cleo was cremated. A graveside servicer with military honors will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contribution be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.brennanmathenafh.com.
