David S. McClain, 24 of Topeka, KS died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Stormont-Vail Hospital due to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. He was born September 14, 1990 in Topeka the son of Kimmy (Tucker) and Jeff McClain. David attended McEachron Elementary, Landon Middle School, graduated from Topeka High and was currently employed at PTMW. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Chicago Bears, sharing his knowledge of trees and helping others. He liked hanging out with his family and friends but his greatest love was being with his daughter. He is survived by his daughter, Hayden McClain, his mother, Kimmy McClain and her companion, Lisa Bishop, his father, Jeff McClain; grandparents, Jim and Rose Peak, Dave and Carol Griffin; great-grandmothers, Leona Finney and Gladys Tucker; stepbrothers, A.J. and Curtis Large and their families; his aunts and uncles, Tim and Huong Finney, Anthony and Charlene Finney, Terry and Joe Collins, Gene and Sue Tucker, Leonard and Janet Finney, and Lisa; cousins, Nick, Joey, Matthew, Joseph, along with David's loving girlfriend, Anita. David's family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
