Grace Crouch

Grace Mae Crouch, 91, of Topeka, died September 14, 2014 at Plaza West Care Center. Grace was born in Hazelton, PA. on July 21, 1923 the daughter of Karl E. and Geral V. (Albertson) Houseknecht. She worked as a waitress for Denny's Restaurant and also at Brad's Café. Grace enjoyed reading, doing number puzzles, talking with her friends and watching NCIS shows and mysteries on tv. She was married to Alfred C. Crouch who preceded her in death. Grace is survived by her daughter, Glady Mae Kies (Kenny Gibbs) of Carbondale, two step-daughters, Deva Gene Dudley and Jane Christian both of Florida, her grandchildren, Abraham D. Kies (Kylee Combs) of Panama City, FL., Hannah R. Kies (Keith Kreshel) and Daytona E. Kies all of Carbondale, two great granddaughters Abigayle Grace Kies and Nisa Marie Simple both of Panama City, Fla., a nephew Kenny (Diane) Kurdziel of Oklahoma, and a longtime friend, Willa Plummer of Topeka. As per her wishes, Grace was cremated. No services are planned.
