Daniel "Danny Boy" Adame

Daniel "Danny Boy" Adame, 54, of Topeka, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at his home. He was born September 24, 1959 in Topeka the son of Norberto, Sr. and Dolores (Chavez) Adame. Daniel worked for American Sentry Security and Payless Shoes Warehouse. He married Coleen Blocker on May 23, 1992 at Assumption Catholic Church. She survives. Other survivors include his Mother, Dolores Adame, his children, Michelle Blocker, Richard Adame, (Ashley), Roger Adame, Monika Adame, Daniel R. Adame , four brothers, Norberto Adame, Jr., (Pat), Joe Adame, (Ernestina), John Adame, (Janet), Henry Adame, (Maxine), five sisters, Theresa Flores (Julian), Anita Delci, Sandy Hernandez, (Leon), Juanita Adame, Lucy Escalante (Javier) along with six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Norberto, a sister Caroline Adame and a brother Richard Adame. Daniel will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
