Wanda Lee Osborn, 84, of Topeka, died August 11, 2014 at her home. She was born in Goff, Kansas on March 11, 1930 the daughter of August and Glennis (Neal) Shump. Wanda was a 1951 graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing. She worked for the Lincoln Center for 37 years before retiring. She loved watching sports, especially the Kansas City Royals, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Kansas Jayhawks. She also enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. Wanda was a member of Mater Dei Holy Name Parish. She is survived by her sons: Daniel Osborn and Timothy (Gina) Osborn, both of Topeka, two sisters: Doris (Gene) Hartman, and Joyce (John) Alspach, both of Sabetha, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Wanda's family will receive friends at Mater Dei Holy Name Parish on Thursday, August 14th, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Inurnment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
