Debra C. "Debbie" Artzer

Debra C. "Debbie" Artzer, 61, of Topeka, died July 18, 2014 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She was born on December 7, 1952 in Fairbanks, AK the daughter of Delbert and Dixie (Smith) Senne. Debra provided day care out of her home for over 30 years. She married John Artzer in Topeka, KS on February 11, 1972. He survives. Other survivors include her children, Wendy Powell and her husband, Mike, Chris Artzer and his wife, Danielle, Jacob Artzer and his wife, Ashley, her mother, Dixie Senne, brothers Dean Senne and David Senne all of Topeka. Three grandchildren, Jack, Nash and Jase Artzer also survive. She was a loving and nurturing wife, mother and grandmother. Debra will lie in state at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Thursday after 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
