Kimberlee Jo Baum

Kimberlee Jo Baum, 53 of Topeka, Kansas died July 12, 2014 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She was born February 25, 1961 in Topeka, the daughter of Gary and Janet (Robertson) Terrell. Kimberlee was a 1979 graduate of Highland Park High School. She was employed as an Office Supervisor for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment for twenty years. She had previously worked at her father's business, Topeka Radiator and Body Works. Kimberlee enjoyed caring for her cats, riding horses, spending time on the beach, and loved spoiling her grandchildren. Kimberlee married Timothy Baum on March 17, 1979 in Topeka. He survives. Kimberlee is also survived by her children, Shannon and her husband Christian Grant, Topeka, Schuyler Baum, Okinawa, Japan (US Navy), Samantha Baum, Topeka, a step-daughter, Angela Morris, Poplar Bluff, MO, a brother, Kevin Terrell, Topeka, her auntie, Mel James, Topeka and her aunt and uncle Dick and Sharon Terrell, Topeka, her grandchildren, Makayla, Caleb, Aiden, Aivree, Alexis and Zander. She was preceded in death by her parents. Kimberlee will lie in state at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home after 4:00 p.m. Monday. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Topeka Cemetery. The family request that all attending the funeral service dress casually.
