Deborah Kay "Debbie" Schoenfeldt, 58 of Topeka, KS died July 9, 2014 at the House at Midland Care. She was born July 15, 1955 in Topeka the daughter of George and Leona (Haberkorn) Schoenfeldt. Debbie was a 1973 Graduate of Hayden High School. She worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 21 years, Radiology & Nuclear Medicine for 6 years and retired after 4 years at HRC at the Colmery- O'Neil VA Medical Center. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Debbie collected antiques and was an animal lover, especially her cats, caring for them as family. Debbie is survived by her aunts and uncles, Robert Haberkorn, Odelia Mick, Orlin Broxterman and Bridget Foster along with numerous cousins, her best friend Rheva Cyre and her husband Jim. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with a parish rosary being prayed at 5:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
