Loretta Jean Taylor Chasse Wilbur, 82, of Topeka, died May 15, 2014 at Manor Care of Topeka. She was born in Topeka, Kansas on June 17, 1931 the daughter of Francis Lloyd and Rose Marie (Roberts) Miller. Loretta was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing BINGO, reading, traveling and ballroom dancing. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Loretta married Donald Taylor, Robert Chasse who died on January 23, 1995, and Robert Wilbur who died on February 18, 2006. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Karen Taylor on August 11, 1981. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela (Jerry) Strunk of Merriam Woods, MO., and three sons, Gary Taylor of Tallahassee, FL., Francis (Cassandra) Taylor of Newton, KS., and Steven Taylor of Topeka. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren. Loretta will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Monday after 2:00 p.m. where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
