Richard Mendonca

Richard Mendonca, 79, of Topeka, died April 6, 2014 at the House at Midland Care. He was born in Berkeley, California on July 25, 1934 the son of Frank and Mary (Silva) Mendonca. Richard served in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 to 1973. He was retired from AT&T. He enjoyed bowling and watching Kansas State sports. Richard married Hannah Forster on September 7, 1957. She survives. He was preceded in death by a sister Delores Vidall. Mr. Mendonca will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Thursday from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with military honors conducted the Vietnam Veterans Honor Guard.
