Evelyn J. Ross

Evelyn J. Ross, 81 of Topeka, KS died Sunday, March 9, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born December 28, 1932 in Topeka the daughter of Thomas and Rosella (Meyers) Boyles after Thomas's death in the late 30's Rosella married Glenn R. Cox. Evelyn retired from the Department of Labor. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Davison, a son Leonard Davison, siblings, Nina Pye, Thomas Boyles, Anna Ross, Dean Boyles and Leonard Boyles. Seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren also survive. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, stepdad, a daughter, Cheryl Elliott, son Danny Ross, two sisters, Barbara and Laura. Per Evelyn's wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. Private inurnment will be in Mission Center Cemetery.
