Virginia Gail Moyes

Virginia G. Moyes, 99, of Topeka, died February 26, 2014 at Plaza West Regional Health Center. She was born on March 7, 1914 in Gower, Missouri the daughter of William Carl and Dulcie (Guinn) Walkup. Virginia was an operations manager for the Kresgee Company also known as K-Mart for 17 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church and loved baseball and playing solitaire. Virginia is survived by a daughter Nancy (Cameron) Marcotte of Topeka, two grandchildren, Shaun and Megan Marcotte and five great grandchildren, Jordan, Dezarae, Whitney, Braiden and Harper. She was preceded in death by a son Johnny Moyes, along with two brothers, Wiliam Carl Walkup Jr. and John S. Walkup. Cremation is planned.
