Edward "Ed" L. Dugan, 74 of Topeka, died February 1, 2014 at St Francis Hospital. He was born April 16, 1939 in Winfield, KS the son of Lawrence and Glenda Dugan. Ed was a Navy Veteran serving in the Bay of Pigs during the Cuban Crisis. He was employed at Forbes Field M.T.A.A. then worked at Tractor Supply Company and most recently at Roach's Hardware. Ed was a handyman, he read and kept every owner's manual he had ever gotten; he enjoyed tinkering with whatever he could and loved to study military history. He married Margaret Fee on February 15, 1966. She survives. Other survivors include his children Diana Rodriguez and her husband, Richard of Topeka, Kathy Florentino of Somerville, MA, Beth Souza and her husband Wally of Medford, MA, Lisa Cross and her husband Tracy of Oskaloosa, KS, Tricia Igo and her husband Bill of Malden, MA, Peggy Stansell and her husband Scott of Topeka, Eddie Dugan, Ken Eaton and his wife Laura of Topeka. A brother Donald Dugan and his wife Mary Ann of Topeka along with 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Debbie Eaton. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
