Carol Ann Myers

Carol Ann Myers, 61 of Topeka, KS died January 3, 2014 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. Carol was born November 20, 1952 in Topeka the daughter of Joseph and Patricia Ann (Allen) Motto. She was worked as a lunch lady at Scott Magnet School and previous to that was employed at K-Mart as a Service Desk Supervisor and in their Cafeteria. Carol was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed taking care of her husband, children grandchildren and had a great love for all children. Family gatherings were always made extra special because of her good cooking. She married Wendell M. Myers, Sr. on September 11, 1971 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He survives. Other survivors include their son, Wendell M. "Winky" Myers, Jr. and his wife Melinda of Topeka along with three grandchildren, Haley, A.J. and Isabella. A brother-in-law, Terry Myers and his wife Donna and life- long friends, G.W. and Theresa Droge also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert "Bob" and Richard "Rick" Motto. Carol will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Monday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
