Rosendo S. "Chaka" "Joe" Anguiano Jr., 77, of Topeka, died November 10, 2013 at his home. He was born in Topeka, Kansas on November 13, 1935 the son of Rosendo and Andrea S. (Segura) Anguiano. He was a Crane Operator for 49 years for Katch Salvage Yards. Chaka enjoyed working in the yard, watching western movies, traveling, going to the casino and playing the lottery. He married Victoria "Vicki" Barrett in Miami, Oklahoma on May 25, 1979. She preceded him in death on December 23, 2007. He is survived by his companion, Patricia Robbins, and four brothers, Juan Anguiano, Jesus Anguiano, Feliciano (Inez) Anguiano and Victor (Linda) Anguiano all of Topeka. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ambrosia and an infant brother, Jimmy. He will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Thursday after 2:00 p.m. where a Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
