Tameka Latasha Ivy

Tameka Latasha Ivy, 35, of Topeka, died October 18, 2013 at Stormont Vail Hospital. She was born in Topeka, Kansas on April 14, 1978 the daughter of Orlando Thomas and Cassie Ivy. Tameka was a 1996 graduate of Topeka High School and worked as a customer service representative for the Young Williams Payment Center. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her children, family and friends. Survivors leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Cassie, two daughters, Amira Buchanan and Anyah Johnson both of the home, a sister Rachell Ivy, nephews Keshawn and Zietron Ivy, a niece DeAirra Brown, and her grandfather Joseph Ivy, all of Topeka. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 24th at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. until services begin on Thursday. Interment will be held at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
