Ruben "R3" Reveles, 55, of Topeka, died October 9, 2013 at his home. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on July 15, 1958 moving to Topeka in 1967. He attended local schools graduating from Highland Park High School. Ruben served in the United States Army from 1975 to 1978. He was a self-employed motorcycle mechanic and built custom motorcycles. Ruben was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and American Legion Post #1. He had many interests and unique hobbies and truly "Lived to Ride". He is survived by his father Viviano Reveles, a brother Anthony Reveles, a sister Tracy Watkins, his dearest friend and caregiver Kim Quiring and their dog Max, all of Topeka. Other survivors include his birth mother, Joanna Buso and other siblings, Nancy, Patty, Debbie, Cindy, Ana, Candy, Jimmy, and Tommy. May cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Jo Reveles in 1996. Ruben will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Sunday after 2:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. Ruben will then lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow. Graveside service will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
